well my whole fishtank obsession started with a 1/2 gallon spongebob fishtank that i bought for little girl . Of course everything died cause i had a crab in there 2 goldfish and a minnow. I had know idea what even a cycle was, but then i learned everything i could about keeping a tank and with in one month i had a 75 gallon tank and that was 6 years ago. Now i have had everything from reef tanks to 150 gallon african cichlids and would like to some day soon have a 300 gallon + tank and have rays and aros in there.

My first fish was a betta I got about ten years ago and he lived for 3 years before my brother knocked over my dresser while I was at school. He was on the dresser. Then seven months ago, I bought three glowfish. They lived for three days until I bought a Betta (as PETCO said they were compatible) who promptly ate them all. I could almost hear the quiet "itadakimasu." My Betta, Micho, is still alive and enjoying his own tank.
First fish? Probaly some carnival goldfish I won...

my first fish was a goldfish i won at a fair at one of those ball toss games when i was 6. my mom took me home, and she put it in a cup and we went out to go buy a tank. while we were gone, my dad decided to do dishes (to be nice because my mom was mad at him) and poured him into the garbage disposal. they ended up buying me a bunch of mollies after that to make up for it.
My first fish was a oscar dont have any pics but that was about one year ago had him in a 40 gallon then i got my self into a 55 gallon reef tank which i still have and now im back to fresh water also i have a 180 gallon tank with 1 red tail shovelnose catfish 1 red tail payara 1 red tail barracuda and 1 peacock bass and maybe someday ill have a 500 gallon.

Mine was a male betta spledens on probably a 20 oz. container that my parents got when I was maybe 3, but that was about 20 years ago. The longest I've had any of my current fish is about 8 years for my Syno. nigrita.
