The character cartoon drawing and bubble writing I've been doing since I could pick up a pencil lol , I used to draw my favourite cartoons in classes I was bored in during school (so basically all of them apart from art , design and sports ) I've had to endless practice my letters of recent though trying to master the art of wildstyle flow without just adding arrows and connectors everywhere like I used to lol , I've also been working on two colour throw up pieces there seems to be loads popping up in manchester ATM over the big complex ones
You should go back to your childhood cartoons mate and have a play around with some ideas for your pieces , I try to use characters that people forgot about from the 80s to spark a few oldskool memory's

Thats the thing is thats a whole new ball game to me. I always drew letters besides that it was tuner cars. I've been drawing anime characters and my lizard to work on proportions and realism. All wildstyle is extensions arrows and connections. A lot of it is your personal style and imagination. If you look it up you'll see no two artist do their wild style the same even people who inspired me and i toke bits and pieces from dont look the same

I've done allsorts of realistic pictures over the years , even had to draw still life naked fat woman at collage in my teen years , a good thing to do is when drawing realistic stuff is copy still images photos , google images etc helps get the shading and highlights on point , that's what makes a piece once the proportion is in place for me , you'll get the techniques though dooms you've got a natural eye for it.
I like to try have my wildstyle have flow through the piece it may sound a little silly but the connectors and arrows I try to make have a purpose to add to the flow and structure /overall shape , instead of just adding them where ever without thought (I've always been guilty of that :banghead

Yeah true all in due time just gotta work for it. A wildstyle piece should flow flow no matter what i guess my style has a horizontal flow cause most my lines flow across the horizon. The flow doesnt come from the extension but the letters them selves
