wow, I've never seen such a large grouping of spiders Nereus. how long have those cars been parked for.

Pyramid_Party- nice shots. do you see a lot of those spiders in pic 6? Dan_f and I have posted pics of the same type but they were both taken 5 years ago.

here's a boxelder nymph-boy are they fast for having such little legs...

some kind of fly, I haven't ID'd yet.

and a mason bee. I keep meaning to put up a bee house for them, but haven't gotten around to it. now that I know for sure they're in the area I'll have to put one up next spring.

No but I would catch a bunch and leave them out for the birds.

I have only seen a few of those crab spiders. They are ambush predators like the jumping spiders. They usually hide in or around flowers blending in and wait for a flying insect. I garden, so I see all kinds of interesting bugs.
 
I found this Walking Stick on my shed yesterday taking a nap.

I think I found the leaves that fell off your twig:

Sorry, don't know the actual name for it but we called them camel spiders.

Someone told me a while back that they are not spiders but something else.

I'll try to find some more and take some pics
