Actually both sexes get them, my female is showing that but the big make doesn't yet.

I got them at the christmas tree shop, they are 8 foot long and with coupon I got them for $4 vs over $20 right next door at Jacks Aquarium, now Pet Value
That's my chocolate. Not sure what sex but i am leaning towards female. It's body (not counting tail fin) is about 7" long and 3.5" to 4" tall. No sign of a hump.
I saw a smaller one in a LFS today, maybe 5.5", including tail, and it had a much steeper profile to the forehead. No hump, but probably a more vertical profile to its face than my fish... I'm tempted to go back & get it. I think I will, but I'm gonna be tearing my tank down soon to paint the back black and re-scape it (and change the sand). I'll add it then.

What are those floating plants with the branches coming down? I would love to get some of those for my chocolate. I have a single chocolate and a long finned albino tiger oscar in a 55.
The wood is manzanita, cheapest place I found them is www.bloomsandbranches.com The plants are from hobby lobby, they are 8 foot long plastic, I think they were $8 with a coupon, reg $15 or so.
