Yeah it's a shame they get a bad name. Just like Pitts & various other breeds. It's not the dogs it's the owners. I'm sure everyone has heard that a million times but it's so very true. My female's father was a viscous guard dog at a Chop Shop I used to DJ raves at. Once we saved him, (actually stole him) in less than a months time he was a big baby. Dogs need love & reward there owners for it more than any other animal.

hes now around 100 pounds and everymorning he comes into my room to wake me up and then leaves with something from my room (usually a bunched up pair of socks)
