I forgot to specify wich type of Macaw he is, He's a Yellow Collared Mini. About 15'' from head to tail. Not a small bird, but not a giant like his cousins(B&G, Scarlet, etc)

He's learnging to talk more everyday, He says "Hi" "Hello" "Hey" "Hmmm" "Huh?" makes kissy noises, whistles a little, and likes to make clicky noises. He feeds the dogs too! Drops little pieces of carrots and whatnot for them

now i really cannot wait to see him... he is learning so fast..but the more attention you give the more you will be amazed at how the little tiny head holds such a big big brain..

Nice Finches. I've almost bought a few finches. A breeder was selling of excess stock for very cheap, had some rare finches. But I decided to pass.

Nice finches though. :)

From what I've read about them(Yellow collareds) They have been known to learn more words then there larger counsins!

Thanks Attackfish

The bird in the pix just successfully hatched some babies so I'm pretty excited to see how they'll turn out.

On I side note a buddy of mines two pairs of Scarlet and Blue n Gold just laid eggs. I would ask for a baby, these birds are just too noisy for my taste.

I believe that is true!! My african gray is a wizzard.. he asks me if he can "Come Out" he asks me for cookies, when i am putting my makeup on he asks me if i am ready...he sings I am an african gray
I have a lot to sayyyyyyyy so cute.. and if yours is doing all that already theres no end to what is in the future.. :grinno:

Looked around for my camera cord so I could put the pics on the computer, couldnt find it. I'll find it tommorow though and get the pics on here.

He is a very great bird, only a year and 16 months old.
