lol...yea. white peacocks are nice...bt i still prefer the Indian Blue. and the whites arent albino...they are leuistic(spelling?) lol. the singapore zoo has some of this old guy's offspring running arnd..as well as some of the National parks. the resort islands got a breeding population too.
 
Came across Bleeding Hearts, Mayas, Owls(i dont know what specie), and hanging parrots in the Philippine Black Market ..........I did not want to support poaching so I passed them up:(

here's my umbrella cockatoo (Marley) my quaker(Rex) and my cockatiel(Phoebe)

i adopted marley in september '07, he came plucked but has not plucked since he has been with me.

wow Dan ..you have brought a tear to my eye.. i cannot believe the change in your cockatoo... marley is awesome... you definitly have a great gift,... your others are sweet too... but marley touches my heart..

Quakers are so overdone here. They are all over the place here in huge groups. Yes lots of them. I do like them a lot and more the merrier. IN Key West by Hemmingway ave there are wild cockatoos.
Breeding pair last year so loud you can hear them blocks away . They are protected by town ordinance.

I have never seen them only heard them.
 
Liz, I just want to know how you keep these threads going for 1 1/2 years? Here is Mercy and Grace waiting for Christmas :)
