Theres a good possibility yours is a female. But from what I've seen lately is that the blacks take longer to color up than the blues.

I would agree, as I also have what looks to be a male that is ~1" smaller than this one and blues are already coming out.
This particular "female" has been clearing out an area in the corner of my tank, but no courting seen as of yet.
Here is one of my Gorillus Blues. He is around 7" as well.
He is around 7". His color is a bit darker but he washed out a bit when I put the flash on the tank lid.
They look amazing Mike and excellent pictures as well. You can see why I also call them the "RED FRECKLED MONSTER," There color is only going to improve from here on out. Good Job with them!!!
I really hope so, Chris! She is the the biggest size other than Congo!
Here is some shots of Congo after a weekend shrimp feed. He is pushing 8" now.

I thought I was going to prefer the blacks originally but after seeing Jason's pair, I must say I'm a blue fan. Cool seeing them all grow out and they all look really nice.
