  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm too lazy to change mine out. I don't really mind the lighter coloring.

I was commenting on another's fish that shows black as a result of the substrate.

Yes, I know. And I was just saying that I'm lazy and my fish are dull. (white lapis lustre)

Good to know. Add "random" to your resume.

Moved the umbees in the 100g. It's just them now as they are starting to get nippy.

I know some of you are wondering when the Gorillus blacks from San Rafael start to turn blue? Since the Gorillus Blues have already started turning, well here's a sneak peek at this 8" male :) I think these are late bloomers compared to the Gorillus blue strain!

I just hope that members post there 18+/6 year old Umbee Chris brought back down the road. I would hate to see all these updates and then they fade away. I want to see the progression, fry/juvi, colors/build, sub adult, mature, very mature old Umbee colors and body profile. It's pretty neat to have all this out and in the open.

Here's some more pics of this Gorillus Black San Rafael male. IDK why the pics came out dark, the tank was super bright. I'm not good at cameras.

And my Gorillus Blue for comparison. 2 Strains so similar yet so different! I love it.
