gggaaaaakkkkkkkkkk my LFS is out of hi fins ,o well just have to wait until next time

How long do they live? My brothers got one and it is cool. I heard it was a long time.

you should add in the description that you should keep them in the same water temperatures(tropical or cold water)that you buy them in and only slowly change the temp. down, or expect a high mortality rate.

that's why i put it in the Cold Water, Temperate and North American Native fish Forum.

My local fish store are pretty smart about fish, they had them in a separate tank. So i would think (if your LFS) was smart, they would do the same. But your right. If your LFS has them in high temps, then slowly adjust them to colder water.

wow, i've never seen those before! cool looking fish!
