Its amazing how much the substrate/lighting play a role.in their apearences.

So what do all think the story is with koloton and koliba ? Same fish, lap variants , totally seperate (undescribed)

Im leaning towards lap variants but seperate from eah other.
BUT dmds first koliba does resemble my koloton....mis-labeled ?
Pic of aquatic day cares koloton.

* Koliba are a usually lighter base with green/yellow tones. Markings on certain ones can look fuzzy when u look at them from a distance. But when u view in close, there's lots of messy like looking dots. This can be debateable as koloton are slimmer than koliba.

* Koloton possess darker lines and light brown base. Most times they're the ones with cleaner crisp lines/marking.

Whats sets the koloton/koliba apart from other laps ? Farana lap head markings look similar ad sometimes i'll see a lap on a really nice substrate and think it resembles koloton/koliba
