Not really sliders are tanks busters(aka monsters in their own rigth) and are you going to tell me a 12 inch female slider is not a monster?

Here are some recent shots of Miss Piggy. American Bullfrog. She is about the size of a baseball when sitting.. About a foot long with legs extended.
She eats anything and everything. Mostly crawfish and minnows.
