Tank = 75G Tropheus sp. Red "Chimba"
Lighting = TMC AquaRay GroBeam 500 Duo Twin LED (2x12W)
I have them sitting just on my glass tops right now but I plan on building a canopy for the tank soon and these lights will be mounted inside. Love these lights! They're light, sealed, do not get hot at all and best of all they are only 12W each! They use the latest generation CREE XR-E high performance LED emitters. They are not cheap initially but they will pay for themselves by not needing to buy replacement bulbs and by saving a lot of energy.
AquaRay lighting controller. It has a on/off timer and dimming feature to simulate sunrise/sunset. I have it set to dim down to 1% power to cast an eery moonlight glow on the tank at night. The "twilight" time looks awesome.
Full tank shot. Excuse the wedding photo reflection... lol. Not the best shot to show the color of these lights since my white balance was off in the photo or the shimmer effect they create but trust me, they are fantastic on both regards. The light is a crisp 6500K and the tank's shimmer is awesome.
