one of the things people say about sexing them is, the males have more spotting, and usually lose the bar accross their bodiesm males also usually tend to have a purpleish sheen to them, females sometimes have a longer forehead, some yellow coloring, and less spotting..especially on their lower bodies.

Did you see my purple female with no line and spots from the post I quoted? Nothing that I have heard, is a sure fire way to visually sex a jag. Only venting, because you see on this thread, males that look like "typical" females and vice versa......

This is true, this is my Male from a breeding pair in his SEXED-UP dress lol

and this is female #1 that was bred with my Xanthic male, she is nice a spotty with colour in her fins

ok by looking at all these post im guesing that the males are a darker tint and have more spots than the females ?
