See how the vertical bars are just about gone, this is what my Jag, Jig Jig is now looking like. Somedays they are completely gone, somedays they stick out like a sore-thumb.
Want to get photos of her to post but I bought a cord for my camera phone and it was the wrong one. I'm looking to borrow a friends camera, but I guess if all else fails I'll break out the 35mm and shoot 10 rolls for 2 or 3 good photos.

Are you sure Jig Jig is a female? Looks male to me with that pattern.. i could be wrong..but i don't know..more pics
Red Devil you are right his jag is 100% male no question about it. Here's some update pics of my male jag from back in september to now and my new female manny for him. I finally got my WC pair of Nicaraguan Manny's in which I am extatic about.
First shot is my male in september at 3" when he came in from Rapps. Next two shots are him in october early november time period. Next 2 shots is him in december. And finally the last 5 are him now with his female.

beautiful..even at 3 inches your male was a looker .... gorgeous pair you have ... he looks very happy with his women..

You know I'm no longer sure, I was once convinced that Jig Jig was female. Used to dig out pits and all the stuff I have seen other females do.
Then I've read even if it is only fish, it'll still lay eggs.... none yet here.
Now the vert bars are almost fading out. Nice spotted pattern, and still golden in color.
