my pacu is about 8 inches the tank is 300 gal ,as for the size of jag its unknown as i have just fallen in love with the ones on here and i am now determined to get one .what size would you recomend if any thanks

well pacu do not normally eat or bother other fish.. at least my pacus did not bother other fish.. they were 35 plus inches and i had a african cichlid that was 6 inches living with them.. no problem.. but my pacu were always fed pellets and veggies.. so if you can set the tank up with those large tall plants.. so jag can always hide.. until everyone gets aquainted with everyone i think you will be okay.. as long as it is just pacu in the tank.. just get a baby ...quareenteen for awhile in growout./ and get it growing good .. and then add him..

just to let you know i have got 4 jaguars comming next week there are 3 girls and 1 boy they are 8 cm will post some pictures when they come
