Not the Jag I have now, but a male I gave up a year and half ago was a true monster at 6".
I gave him to the LFS because I had to give up fish because I'd been flooded out of my home. They dropped him in with a 12" chocolate cichlid and I thought poor chocolate. They tried several tanks, and finally gave him a tank of his own. Jaguars at 6" can be monsters.

I'm not sure who is doing it, I think it
is momma, but someone is eating babys.
Jig Jig is sure protective of them, even
from momma. Always pushing her away
from his kids.

Well she probably would be a monster if my police officer (male salvini) dident regulate every time she went on her little rampages. He runs my 110 and all other fish flee when he comes out to eat except the jag who constantly challenges him. But he has a mate that helps him regulate so its not really fare. Every time the jag sees the female salvini she punks her though. It almost like the female sal goes and tells on her because the male allways chases the jag after. It's kinda like a soap opera.

I got a 13" one yesterday, Ill post pics of him in a day or two. He's still settleing in the tank with his pink convict ha
