She looks like she has a mouthful of fry... her mouth is so different...what a happy beautiful couple...........congradulations on a great pair.. cannot wait for the babies.. the tank looks awesome...
Thanks. I don't believe that Jags are mouth brooders though. I'm looking forward to the babies as well, they sure are taking their time in laying the eggs though.

Thanks. Would they still be protecting the area and going after everything that gets close if they had eaten the eggs?

Maybe and maybe not... if there were eggs they would hover over the area of the eggs and stay there..if they are swimming here and there then they are trying to breed but still have no clue how yet..but they will get it in time.. if they are sticking near one spot then there could be eggs and you may not see them.. or they are in the process.. or they ate some and still have a few remmants left.. or they know not what they did
and think they are still there..
