Thanks again Liz :)

Here's another video, I took this one yesterday after I noticed she laid eggs. Me and a buddy were watching a movie and all of a sudden I look over and the wood is covered with eggs lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVwoDRBMX9I

what a great video..watching them i realize they both know exactly what they are doing:D she even picked up and egg that fell off.. did you see that? Next time put a slab of slate there for her to lay the eggs..seems they hold on better and if u want to take it out because they end up eating these ..it will be easy to place the slab of slate in another tank.. you have some cool video there.. :grinno: i almost forgot to mention that you should put a very light airation {sp} over the eggs.. like a mist.. it helps alot..almost like the parents fanning them but better.. especially if you have to take them out and put them in their own tank..

Thanks, I didn't notice her picking up an egg.

It's funny I couldn't even get guppies to breed before and my cons have stopped breeding for me as well but apparently I did something right with these 2 :D

Towards the end of video it looked like she poked at the wood..like she was trying to put the egg back..if you look really carefully you can see a few eggs that were floating around in the water..unless i am :screwy: haha:confused:

I've got a few of those around, don't think I have anymore outlets to plug one into the pump though... would I stand the wood up so it's vertical and have the stone @ the base?

you would place the airstone a few inches away from the eggs..but very fine mist only.:D i would not touch the wood where the eggs are located.. do not disturb ..get parents upset..they may eat them.. only touch if you were taking them out into another tank..
