Sup E. so far so good i think. never kept this type of fish before. i wont be able to get them feeders till after work today.

Just took a good look at your 2nd pic and I noticed the Freckles on yours too
Looking at the spot behind the gills... Im more than 75% positive they are Tats. Armatus have a thiner/longer one and Tats have a thicker and more rounded dark spot (dont know what it is called

We need pics of lil Tats....... That's the problem.To me the overly large fins make me lean towards Armatus. I mean even in the recent posted pics I see a huge similarity to my guy when he was small and the pics X posted...Other problem..... Do Tats grow at the same rate up to say 5-6 inches?

Thats a cool looking Tat. Mine looks like that... but more older (freckles are fadding away). Although I ran into a fishbase info and there are suppos 4 locations where Tats are found. Brazil, columbia, venezuela and peru. I wonder where these Armatus/Tats came from? Also where your little monster is from?
