Good job bro. :) Next time, I'll pay you to grow out my fish :naughty:

Well if you can find someone to sell them to you, it would be like paying them to grow them out:D

heh.. i'll let you knwo if i decide to let them go.

is it okay to keep both of these guys together in the same tank when they are bigger?

Xazn, I was jsut wondering what kind of sand are you using? I think my 8Ft. (for the armatus) I will use a light colored sand. Yours looks pretty smooth...Where can I get some?

i dont think you want this kind of sand...

it is EXTREMELY fine and will get sucked up in your filter. and any fish that swims next to it will kick up a storm. it already broke one of my HOB filters.. but good thing i found a weak jebo canister that cant even suck up the sand if it floated by

but if you still want to look into it.. its made by caribsea

http://www.caribsea.com/pages/products/super_nat.html

it is marine sand

Well, I should say no, so you can sell me on like right now :naughty: J/K  Yes, you can keep two together, as long as you always have some feeders in the tank.. They'll go crazy on each other if they're hungry  :screwy:

Thx for the info. I am sand shopping for the 8Ftr..

Lets see some update pics people:headbang2

Just bought first batch of goldfish last night. Moved the Rhaphiodon to the pond, and pulled the divider. Will feed goldfish for 2 weeks then begin training onto dead food, starting with krill. At that time I'll move my lil dat in with them to act as the teacher fish. If that fails the Rhaph will go back in with them provided they've grown enough to not be food. They are about 4 inches now. No signs of aggression yet but there is a group of 3 that stick together and the other 2 are pretty much loners.
