I was thinking if there are any black spots anywhere then they are probably tats since the baby 1 inch tats are completely covered in them and then loose them. So are there any payaras in the batch with absolutely no spots anywhere? Then again i never saw a baby armatus, but i think they have clear bodys?

I'm not sure if this helps but i found this picture when i google'd it.

if you look closely there are small spots.. hMMmMmMm

i meant those big spots that baby tats get.
both armatus and tats get those tiny spots.

The problem is, no one has a picture of 1" Armatus to see if they have freckles. Even scombs have freckles at 1". BTW, some of my baby "Armatus" ate another one I found two dead ones with half of their body gone My casualty is 10 already
