Mine have just landed. I was sent more than I payed for

Hopefuly it was a blessing


Glad to hear they arrived in good health. I put guppies in and with in 1 sec, they were surfacing looking for guppies. They did not hesitate to snap multiple times till they cought one. They it was arse from there. Their bellies were so full, I tought they were ganna explode. But I guess they enjoy being full more than enjoying their food

I think I'm going to do daily water changes and keep it stocked with a ton of tetras or mosquito fish. Hopefully they get some size on them soon

Thats what Im doing. Except... Im feeding the guppies beef heart (just a lil, but nothing else), so when the Payaras eat the guppies... hopefully they can digest the undigested beef heart too (have no Idea if it works, but worth a try. Also maybe it will be a taste that the Payaras will get used to so I can get them on beef heart)

you guys should try fatheads/minnows. I bought 15 guppies and 15 fatheads and they seem to like to eat the fatheads more. or maybe the fatheads are just slower.

either way the fatheads filll them up MUCH more than the guppies.

It shouldnt be long before we start knowing for sure. My armatus was growing nearly an inch a week after I first got him!!

1 inch a week. In that case, I def got Tats. Im sure I would have notice 1/8 of a diff from Mondays purchase. To me they look the same (dang I should of measured when I first got them). At that growth rate, Im sure someone will be posting how big their Tat/Armatus has gotten

Petco has a **** load of tetras and others on sale @ 5 for $5. Just cleaned them out of rosie reds and neons. Should be an interesting Saturday morning
