O.k. here are some of my crappy pictures. Some of these actually came out decent for me...I found the zoom button and the setting to take moving pictures

in pic 1,3 and the one in the back of 5 are 100% armatus, you deffinatly have tat also

My little guy has not eaten in 3 days now

I hope he dont check out and takes a chomp out of one of the feeders

He probably ate, but you didn't see it. It's hard for payara that size not eating for 3 days and still survive

He got stuck to the filter twice during a water change yesterday
When I try to suck whatever is in the tank, he dont move. It looks like he is having contractions in his stomach. He keeps pumping and arching his back
I pray he makes it cause it dont look good. And I do have to say I feel pretty damb good about him being an Armatus

That's why I only use sponge filter, get all the dirty stuff by net, and scoop water with 32 oz soda cup for w/c. They are too small. Take good care of your baby. I observed mine for a good amount of time yesterday, and went to bet with a big smile on my face Too bad, Rich sold out Oh well, there's always next year (like my Lakers)

I have an ac110 and an emp400 on that 55g that they are in. They haven't been stuck on the filter once. Along with keeping the feeders in there (really just as a safety net) I feed bloodworm cubes at night and mysis shrimp cubes in the morning. I have no idea if they eat that or not, but the feeders love it And I'm constantly adding new feeders

Also I've only been doing 25% w/c twice a week...well it's only been about a week but that's how it has been going so far.

So how long do you think they can go with out eating?? 2 days...

For the last 3 days I have not seen a bump on in his stomach and this morning when the lights went on, he got scared and swam
But I dont see him eating, only the first day he swallowed 4 guppies and has not eaten since??

Oh, well... what can I do

in my 10g growout i got a ac70 and a small emperor. so far so good only guppies got sucked in before i covered the intake with a sponge.
