one of them is beat up pretty bad..i hope he gets better.. he was rubbing up on the glass in my 20g for a long time now a big piece of skin is missing on his nose.

do you guys think mela/pima will do the trick?

Keep tank temp in the 82-84, plus some salt will take care of the problem. Don't use any medicine. These guys are very sensative to medication. I can help you. He will heal in no time in my tank

hydrolycus are senstive to meds.
so be careful when adding meds.
best is salt.

My 6'' tat was the same way when it came out of the 20g quarintine tank. And i put 1tbs per 5g in the big tank and 3 weeks later you could never tell it was banged up. Just remember these fish get fungus easily when stressed so i would keep it with some salt for life.

Salt is the best for most fish to help speed up the process. He dont look bad at all. You should of seen my Goliath when I first got him. I thought I flushed 450.00 down the drain. Hes good now

He will heal in no time. The only thing is finding out what is scaring him. I think he is saying he wants out of your tank and into West1's tank (thats what it sounds like to me)

one of them is pushing 5" already. the other is half an inch behind.
