What do you think the best "tank-cleaners" are??

Cory Cats? Plecos? Algae Eaters? Loaches? Botias? Snails? Ghost Shrimp? Bamboo Shrimp? Geos?

Let us know!

anyone? I'd definitely say plecos are one of the LEAST effective once they are old and BIG because they just sit in one spot and probably create more waste than they actually clean up, lol

the only one ive ever kept were plecos and snails and i really didnt see any difference, my pleco was quite large to so maybe he was just lazy idk

i dont have a lot of experience but i wanna know lol

ive always had Cory cats because they just make for really interesting little fish and because they have spikes, nobody has ever eaten one of them. they seem to do a very good job for a fish of that size. it seems that algae eater are far more effective than plecos though.

I have a small common pleco in one of my tanks, and he keeps the glass spotless. I also keep my africans in that tank though, so that probably helps keep some algae down.
