Plan on getting a male morph for her also. I love the albino jungle. I want a burm but I am pretty sure they are illegal in NY, I am rather amazed we can get monitors here. well the bosc will b free roaming once hes big enough and friendly enough and like i said the burm gets enough exercise anyway.
just out of interest, what will u do if the boa gets viv defensive? tbh if ur guna devote a room, id make it worth it and stick a retic in there lol boas dont get that big anyway lol

The boa is the biggest snake we can own in NY so that idea wouldn't work out. I constantly mess around in her cage and she does nothing but stay where she was. If she does get aggressive Idk what I will do but I don't see it happening. If it does I know I will figure something out.

Beaded lizard. It is closely related to its better know cousin, the Gila monster. it is still venomous.

is it? wow i never knew that. i would have thought in NY tey wouldnt survive the temps....which is pretty much y everything is legal over here lol i think we have some corns somewhere and adders but other than that snakes wont survive.
nah she should be cool if shes soppy now. i just know that would b something that would play at the back of my mind lol
it would be good if more people could devote a room to their snakes.

Go big or go home right? I plan on moving out of NY sometime within 3 years, I want a retic and a burm always have. The only time my boa ever strikes at someone is if you startle her. Well she don't even strike at the person she strikes away to let you know you did something she didn't like.

AWWW thats so cute. touch wood mine have never striked....except for today lol
but that was because it was feeding time for the burm and everyone went wild, so decided to feed but my male just went mad and went for me. but i dont use tongs, so to be fair my hands had rat fur and skin over them so it was an easy mistake.

I don't use tongs either. But I also don't use frozen mice. I breed mice then pre-kill them. I don't have the time to go to the pet store and but mice every time it is feeding time. So it is easier the way I do it. They aren't perfect and make mistakes can't blame them or hate them for it. They are to cute to hate anyways.

yea i get them from a man that does that and just use wild rabbits because my next door neighbour goes rabbiting and usually would throw them back....so currently my freezer is completely stocked with rabbits lol
