Post your Petco DPG Sale Tanks

Hows this for a stupid problem... I want to go get some 10s and 20s but for the life of me i cant think of what to do with them :nilly: but cant turn down a good deal maybe even for reptiles or amphibians...

I picked up 2 40b, they only had 3 40b left!! A 3'x18" tank for 40$ is killer!!!! And usually 115$!!!

40b is a perfect hospital/quarintine tank, or even a breeder! And a great great grow out!

Just bought a 20 gallon for the hell of it. Now to rig up a ghetto lid. But I pick up tanks at yard sales and then once I get them home I realize that I have nothing to put in them lol. I doubt I'm the only one who does this. I've had good luck 'flipping tanks', I've been buying up yardsale tanks and reselling them once cleaned up. Bought a 55 with hood and lights for $10, sold it for $75 along with a few random fishy things I had no use for.

But its not a bad idea to have an extra tank laying around, in case you get 'surprise fry' or other assorted things.

Glad I don't work at Petco, if I had an employee discount on top of this sale I'd have closets full of empty tanks.
