my other tank i have 2m hystrixs , 3 paroon sharks, 1 p bass. and 2 florida gar. i have found that keeping gar can be risky, they can nip during feeding, so i only keep them with much bigger rays and u gotta make sure there mouths are full before feeding the rays, or they go down there an try an steal the food. have seen some keep them together no problems but this is just my experience.
once my indoor pond is done i plan to move the biggest paroon shark in there with the male hystrixs an hopefully in the future a mature female hystrixs for them![]()
