my moms pasta sauce

put this on spaghetti or lasagna or manicotti or?

1 large can (64 oz) of crushed tomatoes
1 regular size can of diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 to 1 1/2 pound hamburger
1 large onion
garlic cloves
spice

fry hamburger with onion and garlic. i used a few cloves of garlic.
when brown,drain,and add all the canned stuff.
i add about 1/2 can of water to make it a little thinner.
then spices.i used 3 bay leaves,salt,pepper,oregano,basil,add as you like it.
simmer for an hour or more.
 
deviled eggs

boil 6 eggs for 20 minutes

de shell
"i still want to try the,break the ends off and blow the egg out trick"

cut in half

then mix this all together
all the yolks
3 tsp of sweet relish
1 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp of mustard
salt to taste

once you made that heres a trick i use
cut the corner off of a ziplock
put the mix in the ziplock then squeeze it out that corner into all the halved eggs

then add paprika
 
any kind of noodles+eggs=good eats

moms chicken pot pie
or "beef or ham or ?"

meat of your choice
1 pack of frozen mixed veggies
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can of chicken gravy "or beef or ?"
pie shells,comes in pack of 2

cook the chicken or meat of your choice
amount,i cook alot and add what i think looks good

mix everything together

put the first pie shell in a round glass pan

pour in the mix

top with the 2nd pie shell

roll the edges in

poke holes in the top with a fork

bake at 450 degrees for 30-45 minutes
 
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups cooked mashed pumpkin or sweet potato
  • 1 can (12 fl. oz.) Evaporated Milk
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
  • Whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
MIX sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.

POUR into pie shell.

BAKE in preheated 425° F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° F; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream before serving.

i have tried this 3 times now and it just doesnt taste as good as it sounds
first 2 times i tried it in a big coffee mug
this last time i figured i would use a regular sized one and well here it is lol
