That really sucks Dom.The loach has those spike like barbs just over their eyes which probably helped do in the perch.

Yep I cant believe the fish tryed to eat the CL tho. It was at least 3/4 as long as the perch.

OUCH! That sucks man. I bought a fish once, a nice rare fish, and it jumped the same night I got it. Sucked big ones.

GET MORE!!! Just make sure there are no snacks available. Or at least smaller ones.
