Haha I'm actually thinking of getting 1...but my tank is in the upper 70's to 80's...I'm thinking that's a bit of a stretch:(

I think it'll be fine you should ask Wes. I think he said they can tolerate a wide range of temps. Though at this size you'll just be buying a expensive feeder for your Gars, or do you have another comm. you were gonna add it too.

I was surprised it looks so good. Pics on the net just don't do them justice even mine. He colors down the minute I pick-up my camera. He isn't shy around me unless the camera comes up to my face. Plus surprisingly I figured a perch would hide alot and this guy stays in open water all day. I wish I was an exporter bro! I'd sell you one and rip you off the price. Lol! :D
 
Awesome fish man, thanks for posting. A dream fish of mine actually! Just don't have the $ or tank right now. Someday. Keep us posted on his progress - he looks amazing.

Hey I'm no camera pro by any stretch but maybe you could turn off the lights in the room to where the perch can't see you as you hold up the camera and move in for some shots....just an idea.:)
