I like that feature too. I have a Dell All-in-one desktop that has a built in TV tuner so I usually watch TV before I go to bed and hit the power button on the remote and it's ready to go in the morning.

another good thing is that when ur tv show is scheduled to record and ur comp is on standby it will "wake up" and record

im guessing ram is at 800 so that might be why
I OC'ed my q6600 to 3.0 but dont want to push it further on air

thing i love about vista is you never have to shut it down and boot up again
completely unless u have to update, going into standby mode uses almost no power then u boot back instantly
i usually have like a 14 day uptime on my system

i dont know why people complain about boot time, it might be 3 mins total but i only have to do it twice a month...

My score is 3.5 because of graphics, but all my others are in the high 4 low 5 range.

I don't get the whole boot time thing. Although I don't need to, I turn my computer off once every day or two, and within 15 seconds after boot I can run ANY program.

A lot of people complain about the boot time of Vista. It does take a lot longer than my XP machine.

I only chose Vista over XP for my Mac because our school gives out free software and they only had Vista. If I used it for more than a handful of computer games, I might have bothered to get XP
