my bigger hoplias curu. 11-12" only only not camera shy... i also have another curu around
10-11", aimara around 9-10", lac around 9-10" and a mala around 8-9" all in a 6x3x3 without
any issues. when i first put them in together they fought but after about a week of squable
it stopped and the mala is the king of the tank with this 11-12" curu being 2nd in the pecking
order... lol... looking to add another aimara and lac but no luck find one that isnt 4-5" and
under and over priced...

i cant try theyre always under a pce of wood or something since they each
have their own spot they wont even come out during feeding i have to use a
prong to feed them individually lol

Their wolves don't baby them! Lol but I'm just curious as to how you got a curu to coexist with other hoplias let alone another curu

i have to baby them i spent a lot of money and time for them lol.
honestly it was a gamble and i was on my toes the whole time
when i first put them all together since they were all in individual
tanks before but i made sure there's plenty of places to hide with
rocks, driftwoods, fake plants and about 3000 feeders i got for free
in it to disperse aggression and keep them distracted if possible.
so far it's been working out beautifully.

ps: i have lot of flow in it with a 4x hydor wave makers, aquatop cf500uv,
fx6, 55g sump & a ultima 1000. real pita to get under with space being
non existent around this setup being in the room so i over filtered so i
dont have to clean the filters out too often lol... w/c is 50% - fin level once
a week along with spot vaccing when needed. got multiple tanks ready
in case things don't work out but so far so good and loving it.
