Poster of Channa

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh! Good news!
I am newbie here on MFK and did not know his wonderful and free work.
In my country the Channas are not popular fish (some species are banned and most was never imported) and your poster will have great value to promote this genre.
Thank you very much!

So scharoel, the ban was largely determined by what happened in the U.S... In Brazil we had problems with the introduction of exotic species such as tilapia and some native to different regions of Brazil itself, as Peacock Bass, here known as Tucunaré (Cichla spp.).
Channas species listed as prohibited are large as micropelts ... The dwarfs were not listed, but rarely appear. I came to acquire a bleheri (not adapted and sold) and two gachuas (not formed couple and I donated one).

Wow... sad to hear that. But fortunate to you that they didn't banned the dwarf species lol. We are so lucky that we've own that monsters here (Micros, Striatas etc) itself and heaven for those anglers. But here just got a few species for dwarf due to difficult to maintain the water temp as required. I never own it yet for myself.
