Actually Geophagus surinamensis and Geophagus sp. Orange Head Tapajos are two different species. Geophagus surinamensis common name is Red stripped eartheater and Geophagus sp. Orange Head Tapajos is a scientific name of a Geo species which is still not classified so it's scientific name is Orange Head Tapajos and the common name is Orange head eartheater ( or some sources use Red head instead of orange head ) The picture you have seems to be Geophagus sp. Orange Head Tapajos and not Geophagus surinamensis. I'm not an expert on Geophagus species so if anyone can confirm this it would be great.
Thank you for taking the time and correcting the names :)

How !! , ok sorry for the mistake , so my scientific name it's not correct :(
I pic the photo and it was written surinamensis, but there is a lot of mistakes on the web ^^
I will wait some days to look, if someone can help us, if nobody reply, i will change the scientific name.
Thanks a lot for your help !!!!!!!!!

From what I have read, Geophagus Sp Orange/Red Head Tapajos is the unclassified scientific name. Common name is just Orange/Red Head Tapajos. That's what I call mine anyway!
