there is alot of BS'n goin on at MFK but like others have stated, it's a friendly forum. MFK is more than great info on fish, it's a community of great people who enjoy helping others and just having fun.
between work, med school and soon a baby, i dont have time to go out and BS with my friends, i'm usually getting up early and getting home late, so this is a good way for me to meet people, show off my tank and get great all around help. there are alot of great folks her at MFK.

Everyone has their pet peeves. Most of the comments you may find "useless" make others feel more comfortable posting. A friendly community has more than just strict info, it has personality.

Ive noticed alot of people post a load of crap in forums just to up their post count.... why are youguys doing that? Its not a race....I came here to learn more about other species of fish and to be helped out when I have a question, but when I see threads with people asking questions....theres no answers, just stupid coments. Why?
