Haven't seen them at Dollar General here in 4 months (6/$1). and biglots (6/$.79) are getting erratic.

Pot scrubbies...which type are you guys talking about? I used to do the dishes at a restaurant and have come across all sorts of different designs and colours. Which type would be hte best? The rectangular type or like a ball shape thing. Can you guys post a picture of it?

hi guys. sorry for asking this VERY NEWB question...
i dont use bioballs or sponge on any of my filter. (have hob's and cannisters)
what are they for?

looks like they play a very impt role on filters by the discussions going on here.
shud i start using them?my fish and tanks over the years seemed very well w/o them.
pls 4give as im newbee to some things and thats y im here for to learn. thanks in advance.

Bio Balls and Scrubbies are for wet/drys and canisters. If you are using HOBs and having 0 ammonia and nitrite, you are doing fine.

wet drys are for big tanks...
