this stinks... I signed up for the forum just for this group buy and internet was out a couple days and missed it... haha just my luck! :nilly:

not to thread jack but,

I'm going to order a case myself, I only need half though if anyone wants to buy half a case let me know.

Unless Pharaoh has an extra half case I could buy?
please say you do haha.

If not, who will go half with me?

Well, I pretty much need the whole case. Check the Indy Guys DIY thread and you'll see why. There are about three or four guys in NJ that might want to go in on an order. You cuys could probably set something up.

Oh yeah....Got the scrubbies today. If the battery get charged on my camera, I'll take a few pic of the case. Right now, I have to go get it out of my car.

I finally got some pics of the scrubbies.

The box is about 22 x 19 x 19.

For those of you who can't order wholesale and can't find them at the dollar stores you can order them from here

http://www.restockit.com/Plastic-Pot-Scourers-(PAD235).html

They are the larger size and a whole case (24 Packs Per Case. 2 Per Pack) is $4.74. S/H for the first case is a $7.95 plus $0.59 for each additional pound. I bought 5 cases and with the 10% off coupon offered on the site, the total is $54.63.

BTW, my local dollar store sells a single pack for a buck so it's cheaper for me to buy it online. (I am not in anyway own or affiliate with the store)

I am anxious to get these bad boys into a sump. I really want to see how many tanks I can do with these.

I will go ahead and post my opinion on these even though I have not installed them into sump yet. For all intesive purposes, these scrubbers should work fine for a sump.

Here is my complaint... the scrubbers are a little smaller than the ones that I bought from the dollar store. Also, putting the order through was a huge pain in the butt. Shipping wasn't that great of a deal as I had already noted previously in the thread. Overall, the cost savings were decent. Base on size comparison, I would say that we saved about $20-30. This is actually a good cost savings.

All in all, if you don't mind being hasseled with ordering them, then go for it. If you like the smooth and easy road, find another way.
