pot scrubbies in fx5

How many per basket do you guys have I stuffed we 12 in one is that too many

i smash my scrubbies in my fx5. water is great, but i do have the bottom tray full of biomax. top two are scrubbies.

BTW I forgot to mention my FX5 it packed with scrubbies and works fine for me.

biomax is awesome, if u can afford biomax then use it. u will need 9 boxes of biomax to fill all baskets.

the shape/deadspace is my only real concern when it comes to scrubbies in canisters.. however cutting them up helps with filling in the spaces they would normaly miss

Is there a difference between BIOMAX bought in boxes from pet store and BIOMAX sold in some store per lbs.?

theres 2 biomaxs' one for fluval and one for aquaclear.

fluval is:
1 box is 500 grams u need 3 per basket = 1500 grams X 3 for all baskets = 4500 grams. from there u can figure it out.

As soon as i get to the pond store to purchases some hose i will hook it up and let ya ll know. (I'm running extra leghth cause my tank is in one room while filters in another.
