Pot scrubbies

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Na meant exactly what i wrote. Pretty sure pot scrubbers have more surface area for bacteria than bioballs
I'd say it would be pointless to replace what you already have. They may have more surface area, but it would make sense to replace them if you are having any bio load issues.

Thanks everyone

Unfortunately my dollar store does not have them currently.

WOrried about buying online because i know some of them have chemicals to reduce mold and mildew. don't want to contaminate the water

The ones i showed you are what i am running in the filter on my 300 plywood tank for the last month. I plan to by more on the next filter upgrade they are safe

Im planning a 125g sump with about 60-70g of scrubbers
