Oh I see fhlover. I guess it's no water kok. Good side is the fish has great movement which I like and has been getting a little better. On the other side of the divider is a female parrotfish and a homeless blood dragon cichlid. Go hybrids.

FHs of today like yours should have at least have some humpy heads because that's what the are selected and bred for.. And this guy dont look like a poor quality FH from 15 years ago.. He's future FH and because of that I think he will start to grow one for you in a month or two

Thanks much for the kind words. Regardless if he pops or not, the family has been enjoying him much. I don't notice much change since a few weeks ago, but his appetite has increased and he's now too aggressive for any tankmates. After adding a male he really started strutting his stuff more. Poor phone pics, apologies.

does not look like the ball bubble head type bro. But still very small, I can be wrong. But you know he don't need a huge monster head. It is a trend. He should have decent size hump as a cichlid when adult because he's a FH. That should be in them more or less this day and age.. As long as he stays balanced and beautiful with a decent head i think u got a great fish. He's still a lil baby. Can we get updates soon?
