Thanks all. I'm taking some vacation time the week of July 18th, that's when the build will start. I've decided on the final design that I rendered would be the best as far as functionality and structural design. I'm sooo impatient to get this started, but have to wait until a payday that doesn't have things like rent or carpayment in the way to go shopping for the supplies. I will definitely post pics once it starts... in the mean time I have some re-arranging and prepwork of the reptile room to make space for this behemoth.

Post up some photos of your Gator and also of the reptile room you plan to put it in. I am the same way I always want to jump into a build right away, but need to wait for that pay day. Also need to make sure you have the plans laid out right so you dont run into to many snags on the build. I have started a build for my Argus monitor enclosure and Its going to be big as well so really need to think it through. What are the final measurements of the build? Are you going to you glass or plexi-glass?
I have a couple sketchup plans of the reptile room as well. (technically, the reptile room is my garage, but it is far from being your standard garage at this point) It's pretty Hard to get good photos of the place since all the enclosures are pretty tall & can't back up enough to get a decent shot of any of them)
The total size of the enclosure will be a little over 10' long, 5-6' wide (haven't quite decided if I want to go full 6'wide just because of lack of walking space in front of it if I do) and it will be 5' tall. Here are pics of the room layout (had the old template of the gator cage build in there with the pond on the front side, but at least it still works for footprint layout)
There are more tanks & racks that sit on the wood shelf on the back wall, but I didn't feel like putting them all in just for figuring out the floor layout with the new enclosure... everything is to scale.
