potential stock?

I think for decorations I'm going to have a sand bottom with fake plants (because my Tin Foils destroy real plants) and some driftwood

For the Oscar/small Clown Loach combo the Oscar will eat the small CL. I've had this issue before and now have my CL in a grow out tank for this specific reason. My O is only 6" TL and the CL about 1.5-2" and the Oscar was turning them into lunch.

Are you looking to do a fish or few that stand out with color, or size, shape...

What are you into so to speak?

I think a nice group of eartheaters would be pretty cool. Then you can have CL's in there too.

Here is a pic of my fake planted/driftwood 30 gallon betta tank.

if your going to consider a 180 you might as well just go with a 200gL. The bigger the better..You should consider a bristlenose pleco/ algae eaters/gourami's...Research the fish you like and their tank mates/ If you want to see you fish grow or plan to breed stay away from carnivorous
fish like birchir which I happen to love..And get a mixture of fishes bottom dwellers mid level swimmers...and its always cool to have a school of neon tetras or go cheaper with rosy barbs..

I think that I'm going to go get rid of my Tin Foils in a little bit. I've decided that I really don't want them anymore. And the Bala's are going in no matter what, I don't wanna sound stubborn, but I really love them and could never bring myself to getting rid of them. I really want a colorful fish, somewhat peaceful fish, thats why I chose a Red Severum.

I felt like the congo tetra's would be a beautiful schooling fish that could really bring a pleasant atmosphere to the tank.

I've done a ton of research and know alot about many different types of fish that interest me, like I said, I've been thinking about this for a couple of months now, so I've had time to look into a bunch of different species

I think overall I want at least one larger fish with good coloration (Red Severum), Speedy Larger Fish (Bala's) and some type of colorful schooling fish (Congo Tetra's), with at least my gold nugget pleco on the bottom

Ya I'm really leaning towards not getting an oscar. It was just an idea I had because I've always wanted one

Alright Everybody,
I'm really considering getting rid of my tin foils, I feel like alot more things are possible if I get rid of them, am I right about this?
