Hello everyone!

I'm new to flowerhorn keeping but I've kept a couple of other freshwater and some marine fish in the past.

Last 2 months , my mom got me this little (guy/girl?) as a gift from our LFS without asking questions to the seller about the breed, sex, and other details about him/her. Undortunately, he was relocated to another branch so I can't ask him myself anymore. I've done a couple of readings and found out that he is a ZZ if I'm not mistaken.

My question is, can someone please help identify his/her sex? What type of kok does he/she have? Does it have potential?

Any comments, feedbacks, and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!image.jpeg image.jpeg

I don't think it will have much of a hump. If it was going to have one you'd typically see something by now but anything can happen given the right diet and good water parameters.I'd agree with male however the body shape looks more female. Females that size would typically show a black dot on the dorsal.
