power feeding

your goldfish will die of fatty liver disease.... It's like feeding a cichlid a school of goldfish a day.

2-3 times a day is ideal for fish. Some may eat less. The only time you feed more than 3 times a day is when you have growing fry. Then small feedings 5 times a day is ok.

Basically, if you keep gutloading your goldfish, they're going to be aquatic foia gras or kobe beef lol.

Anyone who does this practice is only fooling themselves.. it is totally unnatural and it adds up to more waste.. take the great advice here and forget you ever heard the word power feed.. it is one of the dumbest words i have heard..especially in fish keeping.. it adds up to trouble..not muscle.

well i do a 40 percent water change every week, and i make sure i dont over feed ( where food is left in the bottom of the tank) basically i'm feeding the goldfish what they eat.... so in a sense when they hang around my DIY feeding ring... i feed em... not alot alot but a decent amount

Thats good ..then in essense your not powerfeeding at all.. your just feed good..
