Power head filter uses....

I used to have an undergravel filter with this power head that I have that
was in my 30 gal but now that I have upgraded to a 125 gal, I don't
use a undergravel filter anymore. Are there other uses for this power head?
Maybe I can attach a plastic hose to it and then a sponge?

Ive been thinking about making a crap vac out of one. maybe put a tube on the intake and the outlet could have a filter bag on it. I need something for clean up between water changes. My fish produce bigger turds than most humans! lol

if you mount a bakground, place it behind with a sponge and maybe some bioballs

I use them with sponge filters, much more gph than an airlift tube.

they work awesome for water changes, hook up a hose and use it to vaccuum and the put the water back in the tank, no more water spills

i use them for water movement with sponge filter attached for extra filtration.

And you can always pull it to use in a quarantine tank.

Rallysman is this what u were talking about?? After I read what u said I decided to design one for myself for in between water changes.
