, My UPS systems give me 7-8 hrs of backup for filters and air pump. By sixth hour the generator is hooked up. (and I'm never gone more than 4hrs). I also have an old electric clock plugged in to tell at a glance if the power has been out, without having to check the logs.Dr Joe
