It will also depend on the temp...a colder temp retain more oxygen than a warmer tank. With that said I woulnd risk it. get a cheap generator and hook it up to a low wattage consumption air pump..that should last you awhile.

Was that when you had those massive lemon fins in your pics? Barbs are pretty o2 needy aren't they, yet however very hardy in general would you say?

I had them, but they were not 18" long like they were in the pics.

at that point, if I recall they were in the my bottom 65g tank at the time, and probably were something like 8-10" or so..

thats the tank they started out in.
