power outages...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
power inversion/conversion is a waste of time/money/energy.... sometimes the UPS wil set you back a few $$$, but compared to what most of us invest in tanks, the $$$ should be negligible... I do believe you can buy back up batteries for the UPS even... in fact, whats sold in stores is only basic stuff, just as the stuff in the LFS, in my occupation, there exists UPS that wil run entire rooms of serves and what not.... so just look around a bit, great stuff

the next addition to that is to also get a generator with a maintenance "mode" so you dont rely on the UPS alone...

I just had a new circuit put in with special plugs and breakers that can handle the load so I'm set. I took a massive amount of water tests (for all my jumbo tanks) and all read well surprisingly so i shouldn't have any more problems. I'm buying a generator for big power outages during storms and such. Thanks for all the in~depth comments fellows/gals! It was very interesting indeed! LOL
